parmesan crusted flounder

ingredients:

2 flounder filets

salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, freshly grated

2 tbsps of italian breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

zest of 1/2 lemon

supplies:

shallow mixing bowl and spoon

sheet pan lined with aluminum

non-stick cooking spray

directions:

preheat the oven to 425. spray the aluminum lined sheet pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

pat dry the flounder filets and season with salt and pepper on both sides. side aside. mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl together well, then press the parmesan crust into both sides of the fish, making sure it sticks well. place the parmesan crusted flounder filets on the prepared sheet pan, and bake for 20 minutes, or until the outside is golden brown and the fish is cooked through. serve hot.
