baked spiced wings
Ingredients:
2lbs of chicken wings or wingettes
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp chili powder
Olive oil
Wire rack & sheet pan
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place the wire rack on top of the sheet pan. This ensures that the wings get crispy, and not soggy by being flat on the sheet pan. Spray wire rack with non-stick cooking spray. In a small bowl, mix all the seasonings together. Set aside. Pat dry chicken wings with a paper towel - this will help the seasoning mix stick and the outside of the chicken get crispy. Once dry, begin to sprinkle the seasoning mix chicken wings on all sides, then place on the wire rack. You may not need all the seasoning - this can be spicy so don't over season! Bake chicken wings for about 30 minutes or until cooked through. Flips wings over halfway through to ensure even cooking. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
*Note: Use less or more cayenne pepper for your desired heat level.
