sambal chili shrimp
ingredients:
1 lb of shrimp, peeled + deveined
1/4 cup of sambal chili
5 dashes of sesame oil
1 tsp of soy sauce
1/2 tsp of rice vinegar
handful of fresh cilantro, optional
salt & pepper
olive oil
directions:
over medium-high heat, heat olive oil in a wok or pan. while the wok/pan warms, mix sambal chili, sesame oil, soy sauce, & rice vinegar together in a bowl. add the shrimp to the wok/pan & cook for about a minute. add the sauce mix & continue to cook until the shrimp are cooked through, about 5 more minutes. season with salt & pepper to taste. serve warm on a salad, with sides, or alone, topped with cilantro (optional). enjoy!
